Don’t look now, but gas prices are lower than they have been in months — at least for some of our area gas stations.
Locally, gas prices have gone under $4 a gallon for the first time since mid-May. Not all local gas stations have passed that marker. Prices range from $3.99 to $4.25 a gallon in Emporia.
Areawide, gas prices range almost 60 cents. The lowest prices as of midday Thursday are $3.87 in Eureka, $3.95 in Olpe and $3.99 in Lyndon. The highest price areawide is $4.65 in Melvern.
