The 49th annual Kansas Shrine Bowl football game will be played in Pittsburg Saturday night.
Two area players will be playing for the East squad, Ted Skalsky of Olpe and Garrett Fager of Osage City.
Emporia State will have 8 signees playing in the game.
On the East team Casen Stallbaumer of Topeka Seaman, Kaden Fields of Osawatomie, Andrew Long of Blue Valley, Brooks Lowe of Blue Valley West, and Kolten LaCrone of Chanute.
On the West team – Lance Hoffsommer of Sedgwick, Colt Sell of Chapman, and Dalton Owen of Concordia.
The West leads the series 30-17.
