A special project begins later this week at Emporia’s Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The city says Nutri-Ject, a company specializing in biosolid removal from wastewater facilities and land application, will bring equipment to the plant Monday and Tuesday before cleaning out the plant’s biosolids holding area.
Weather permitting, and there are numerous chances of showers and storms through the week, this is a 5- to 7-day process.
