After two people were arrested in connection to an alleged shooting incident in southeast Emporia, Lyon County Crime Stoppers has issued a reward for information in the case.
Crime Stoppers has not specified the top reward amount. The agency says information will only be considered for rewards if it isn’t already known to law enforcement and it “furthers the investigation in the case.”
The Crime Stoppers announcement follows the arrest of 27-year-old Shedrick Williams and 21-year-old Keno Hopkins. It also follows an alleged shooting in the Eastgate Plaza apartment complex early Friday that sent one person to Newman Regional Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
