The Royals head to New York to begin a 4 game series with the Yankees Thursday.
The Royals have placed Angel Zerpa on the 15-day injury list with a knee injury. He left Tuesday night’s game after experiencing knee discomfort.
They have also recalled Jackson Kowar from Omaha.
