A pair of multi-time winners were back at the top of the leaderboard for the Hand Pet and Cat shows Friday.
Morgan McCoy brought her guinea pig, Maggie, and won Hand Pet grand champion for the fourth time in five years with her little spud. McCoy called Maggie a “pro” and says there are some differences in presenting a guinea pig versus other animals.
Which means a fair amount of study to get ready for competition.
Meanwhile, Clara Patterson won the cat contest for her third straight year, this time with Pumpkin. The secret to her success? It’s easy.
