Motions hearings are planned Wednesday for two defendants in the Jesus Avila murder case.
Andrew Granado and Jovan Pecina are set for hearings before Judge Jeff Larson at 10:30 am. Motions are on the table for potentially waving speedy trial procedures for both defendants.
Both men are accused of first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, conspiracy on both the prior counts, arson and other charges in Avila’s death in September 2017.
