Newman Regional Health administrators are excited for the 13th Denim and Diamonds signature event, which is Friday evening at Emporia State’s Memorial Union Webb Hall.
Proceeds will help to purchase a C-arm device used for real-time imaging during surgeries. Last year’s event raised a record $123,000, but hospital CEO Bob Wright believes this year’s event may go above that total — which would help the hospital start on buying a second C-arm.
Invasive cardiology, general surgery and orthopedics will benefit from this technology.
Activities begin at 6 pm at Emporia State’s Memorial Union Webb Hall, including live entertainment, the final “golden ticket” event and the announcement of the winner of a nearly $12,000 ring from Kari’s Diamonds and Bridal on-site and a silent auction underway now at www.newmanrh.org/dd.
Tickets availability is limited, with individual tickets at $65 and tables at $450.
More information about the overall event, as well as a link to the online auction, is available at www.newmanrh.org/dd.
