US Highway 54 in west Greenwood County has reopened after a fatal crash Thursday night.
US-54 was closed for nearly eight hours after the crash outside Reece. An SUV and semi were involved, with one of the two vehicles apparently going left of the center line right before the wreck.
Additional details will be announced by the Kansas Highway Patrol.

One person is dead after an apparent head-on collision in west Greenwood County on Thursday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened on US Highway 54 outside Reece just before 10:15 pm and involved an SUV and a semi. The early indications are the westbound vehicle crossed the center line for a currently unknown reason and hit the eastbound vehicle.
