Salvador Perez hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 7th to power the Kansas City Royals to a 7-3 win over the Boston Red Sox last night.
Perez was 2 for 4 with 4 RBI Thursday night.
M.J. Melendez hit a solo home run in the 1st inning.
Bobby Witt Jr and Vinnie Pasquantino also drove in runs for the Royals.
The Royals and Red Sox play again tonight. Zack Greinke will make the start for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 7:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 6:30 pm.
The Royals did make some roster moves yesterday.
They have called up outfielder Nate Eaton from Omaha.
They also sent infielder Maikel Garcia to Omaha and moved Edward Olivares to the 60-day injured list.
