The Fairgrounds Show Arena was packed with people, animals and emotions for the annual premium sale Monday.
4H sale participants included Stormee Gasche, who had a steer up for sale.
Rees Spade was selling a hog. He says the heat and feed prevented him from having more hogs at the sale, but he enjoyed taking part. He also thanked businesses for supporting 4Hers.
Addelynn Malone wasn’t participating this year, but she was supporting family members and friends who were. And she’s participated in the past.
Kim Parks, meanwhile, was supporting her daughter, Lilly — and also buying for three businesses, ESB Financial, Brady Parks Rock & Dirt and Dale Parks Concrete Construction. On the business side, she was pleased to be supporting 4Hers by giving them a chance to recoup their costs. On the mom side —
