Persistence paid off for Bryan Jones, the winner of the 2022 KVOE Hide and Seek promotion.
On KVOE’s Morning Show on Thursday, Jones said he had zeroed in on a “big group of bushes” on the west side of Peter Pan Park, but he turned his attention to another set of bushes nearby. He also said his searching intensified over the past 10 days, and he was in it for the long haul Wednesday.
Part of his prize package includes $1,000 in new footwear from Brown’s Shoe Fit.
Jones, who also won last year, was fully validated before the clues began so he claims over $4,100 in cash and prizes from KVOE and sponsors including Brown’s Shoe Fit, Flint Hills Lanes, Freddy’s, NexTech Wireless, Norfolk Iron and Metal and LCAT.

Emporia resident Bryan Jones may be having a case of deja vu from a year ago. For him, that’s a good thing.
Jones was the one who found KVOE’s Hide and Seek medallion, which was located under a bush in Peter Pan Park. He and a host of others followed a set of clues over the last 10 days towards the medallion. Jones was fully validated before the clues began, so he claims over $4,100 in cash and prizes from KVOE and sponsors including Brown’s Shoe Fit, Flint Hills Lanes, Freddy’s, NexTech Wireless, Norfolk Iron and Metal and LCAT.
Jones also found the medallion last year. He will join KVOE’s Morning Show at 8:10 am Thursday morning to discuss his discovery.
