The Kansas City Royals shut out the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 Sunday, ending the Dodgers 12 game winning streak.
Brady Singer and 3 other pitchers combined to shut out the Dodgers on 2 hits. Singer went 6 innings giving up 1 hit with 7 strikeouts.
Scott Barlow earned his 19th save.
Salvador Perez drove in a run with a double in the first inning.
Vinnie Pasquantino was 3 for 4 with a home run and an RBI single.
Kyle Isbel also drove in a run with a single.
The Royals begin a 3 game series with the Twins in Minnesota Monday night. Kris Bubic will be on the mound for the Royals. The first pitch is set for 6:40 pm.
