Another rough night for the Kansas City Royals. The Tampa Bay Rays rolled to a 7-1 win over the Royals Thursday night.
The Rays scored 5 of their runs in the 7th inning off of Brad Keller who was just moved to the bullpen.
Starter Max Castillo, making his Royals debut gave up 1 run on 3 hits with 3 strikeouts over 5 innings.
Michael Massey hit his first career home run for the Royals’ lone run in the 8th inning.
