In an effort to increase our reach and ultimate fundraising ability we’ve decided to advertise the Kansas Wildscape Foundation’s 2022 annual greater prairie chicken hunt auction item on a larger scale. Previously, it was offered up at auction during Wildscape’s Outdoor Classic in September. While this raised significant funds, it was difficult to administer with a short turn-around time frame and the audience bidding on the chicken hunt was limited mostly to those in attendance at the Classic. We hope this new approach increases our chances for raising maximum dollars for Wildscape projects that benefit all Kansans. Special shout-out and thanks to Warren and Angie Gfeller for hosting the 13th annual prairie chicken hunt on their beautiful, Stranger Valley Ranch and to hunt master, Mike Hayden, for helping out with the hunt.
