It’s one week closer to gameday for the Emporia High football team.
The Spartans enter their second week of practices after holding a scrimmage on Saturday.
Coach Keaton Tuttle said it was a great first week.
Senior Bobby Trujillo said this week is a step in the right direction.
The Spartans will hold another scrimmage at 7 p.m. Friday at EHS. Prior to that scrimmage will be youth league football and Emporia Middle School scrimmages.
