The Kansas City Chiefs outscored the Green Bay Packers 17-10 in their final preseason game Thursday night.
Coach Andy Reid called it a good night.
Harrison Butker kicked a 44-yard field goal to give the Chiefs an early 3-0 lead.
Green Bay scored a touchdown to take a 7-3 lead.
Backup quarterback Shane Buechele threw the first of two touchdown passes both to Matt Buschman to give the Chiefs a 10-7 lead. Green Bay tied the game just before halftime.
In the 3rd quarter, Buechele threw his second touchdown pass to Matt Buschman.
Unfortunately, Buschman did fracture his clavicle.
Patrick Mahomes was one of several 1st teams who did not play in the final preseason game.
The Chiefs now must get the roster to the 53-man limit by Tuesday afternoon.
