Traffic on part of West 12th was diverted through the evening and overnight hours after an unusual incident occurred.
Early indications are a tree fell against a utility line early Wednesday evening, knocking down one pole and blocking some traffic in the process. City staffers blocked 12th between Garfield and Grand.
Repairs have been completed. The street reopened shortly after 6 am Thursday.
