Thursday was another record-setting day for the Emporia High girls golf team.
The Spartans won the Topeka Seaman Invitational with a team score of 321, which is a new school record. The previous best low for the Spartans as a team was 335 in last Tuesday’s Emporia Invitational.
Four Spartans recorded top-20 finishes led by senior Olivia Eckert who shot a 73, good for second place.
Avary Eckert took third with a 74. Elise Eckert and Ella Fessler finished 11th and 12th respectively, both recording rounds of 87.
EHS is next in action on Tuesday when it travels to Newton.
