In the bottom of the 9th, Kyle Isbel scored on an M J Melendez single to tie the game. Nicky Lopez would score on a Salvador Perez sacrifice fly with the winning run.
The Royals are off Thursday they begin a 3 game series with the Detroit Tigers Friday night in Kansas City.
