The Emporia High boys soccer team bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Wichita North in its final game of the Titan Classic Saturday.
Wichita North scored in the first 20 seconds before Edwin Maciel knotted things at one in the 35th minute off a free kick.
Jefry Linares gave the Spartans the lead for good in the 45th minute.
The Spartans had eight shots on goal and Diego Reyes had seven saves in goal.
EHS is now 4-1 and will play their first home match at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday against Topeka-Hayden at Emporia High.
