The Jayhawks trailed early in the game by 14 points.
KU would take the lead in the 3rd quarter 35-28.
West Virginia tied the game with 35 seconds to play.
In the overtime, Kansas scored 1st on a touchdown pass to Quentin Skinner.

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels threw for 219 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Devin Neal scored 2 rushing touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass.
Daniel Hishaw also scored 2 rushing touchdowns.
The Jayhawks improve to 2-0 to start the season and 1-0 in the Big 12. They play at Houston next Saturday.
