With the fourth annual No Coast Film Festival coming to a close Sunday afternoon, what’s next for years five and beyond?
Spokesman Jonny Leach has an idea. This is the first year information workshops have been a big part of the festival, and those are taking place Sunday. Looking down the road, Leach believes a film production company based in Emporia would really light a charge in the local film scene.
Sunday’s schedule includes Best of the Fest, which begins at 10 am Emporia State’s King Hall, with workshops starting at 11 am. The awards ceremony is at 1 pm at the Frederickson Black Box Theatre.
Activities have been at the Emporia Granada Theatre for Friday and Saturday, including the screening of over 50 short films.
