A largely dry week kept the latest US Drought Monitor map stable across the KVOE listening area Thursday.
Abnormally dry conditions cover the north half of the KVOE listening area. Moderate and severe drought cover the south half.
The area has had at least one level of drought since late July. The KVOE studios received 0.20 inches of rainfall Sept. 10, the only measurable rainfall for the month.
