Trial won’t begin until next month for a man accused of aggravated sexual battery against a child and other counts in Lyon County from earlier this year.
Peter McDonald III was set for a final pretrial Wednesday, but that was continued to Oct. 19. This tentatively sets trial beginning Oct. 24.
McDonald is accused of alleged sexual involvement with a 16-year-old in early March. He’s formally charged with aggravated sexual battery, attempted aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated burglary.
