It may not be time to party just yet, but Fanestil Meats’ Party Time Ham has advanced to the second round of the Coolest Thing Made in Kansas people’s choice contest.
Party Time Ham is now among 16 products to move forward. The first round was not the traditional bracket-style contest as seen the prior two years throughout the competition, but that is now underway as Party Time Ham is paired against SawHaul Carrier from GearHaul out of Chanute.
The field will be trimmed to eight contestants by Sept. 26, with the final four announced Oct. 3. The winner will be announced Oct. 13.
Last year’s winner was Hometown Pie Company of New Strawn. The first contest winner was EMP Shield of Burlington in 2020.
