The Boston Red Sox routed the Kansas City Royals 13-3 Sunday.
Salvador Perez hit a solo home run in the 5th, his 22nd home run of the season.
The Red Sox blew the game open with a 4-run 6th inning.
The Royals are off on Monday. They will begin their final homestand Tuesday beginning with a 3-game series against the Minnesota Twins.
They will also host Seattle in a 3 game series over the weekend.
The Royals will close out the season with road trips to Detroit and Cleveland.
