Musicians, families and nature lovers are invited to Camp Wood YMCA this weekend for the return of WoodFest.
WoodFest is an annual fall family event organized by Symphony in the Flinthills and held at Camp Wood YMCA located at 1101 Camp Wood Road in Elmdale. WoodFest will take place Saturday with a day’s worth of workshops and activities for musicians, artists and nature lovers of all levels.
Activities will conclude Saturday evening with a sunset concert by the WoodFest Symphonia.
Sandy Carlson of WoodFest joined KVOE’s Morning Show to preview the event Tuesday. Carlson encouraged residents to attend calling it simply a “great event.”
Passes ranging from $50 to $175 as well as meal, concert and lodging packages are all available for the event. Walk-ins will also be welcomed the day of the event.
To purchase passes and packages or for more information visit Symphonyintheflinthills.org/WoodFest. Check-in will begin at 8 am.
Saturday will be the first time WoodFest has been held since 2019 after the past two years were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
