The Emporia State Cross Country teams will be hosting a meet Friday.
The races will be held on a new course set up around the Trusler Sports Complex. Freshman Tayler Williams, who has been the lead runner in the first two meets for the women, likes the course.
Tyler Swift has been the lead runner for the men in the first two races.
Emporia State Coach Mark Stanbrough says he wants the runners to work as a pack.
Women’s race begins at 5:15 pm followed by the men’s race at 6 pm.
The Emporia State volleyball team plays at Central Oklahoma. Sophomore Ainslee Stepp says they will have to play scrappy.
The Emporia State soccer team plays at Northeastern State. Sophomore Haley Sparks it will take a team effort to earn the win.
