More weekly honors for Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels and Kansas States Adrian Martinez.
Jalon Daniels picked up a pair of honors for the third-straight week, being named an Allstate Sugar Bowl Manning Award Star of the Week and to the Davey O’Brien Great 8 List.
Daniels accounted for five touchdowns and 407 yards of offense in Kansas’ 35-27 win over Duke on Saturday.
Kansas State quarterback Adrian Martinez earned his third honor this week as he was named the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week.
Martinez was also named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and a Manning Award Star of the Week.
Martinez threw for 234 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 148 yards and a career-high four touchdowns in the victory over Oklahoma.
This week Kansas hosts Iowa State with kick-off at 2:30 pm.
Kansas State hosts Texas Tech with kick-off at 11 am.
