The Kansas City Royals dropped their final game of a three-game series with the Detroit Tigers Thursday afternoon, 10-3.
The Tigers led 10-0 through seven innings before the Royals scored all three of their runs in the eighth innings.
Ryan O’Hearn had a 2-run double and Nate Eaton drove in a run with a double.
Jonathan Heasley was the losing pitcher for the Royals going 4 2/3 innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out one.
The Royals finish out their season with a six-game series in Cleveland beginning Friday. First pitch is at 6:10 p.m.
