The Emporia State soccer team picked up their first win in MIAA play Friday. After 3 straight draws, the Lady Hornets outscored Northwest Missouri State 3-2.
Mackenzie Dimarco had the hat trick.
Northwest Missouri State scored the first goal in the 10th minute of play. Mackenzie Dimarcos’s first goal came in the 31st minute. The second goal came in the 41st minute of play. Northwest tied the match in the 55th minute of play. Dimarco scored her third goal with just over 10 minutes to play.
The Lady Hornets improve to 3-4-4 and 1-0-3 in MIAA play. They are scheduled to host Missouri Western Sunday afternoon.
