The Kansas City Royals closed out the 2022 season Wednesday afternoon with a 9-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians.
Vinnie Pasquantino gave the Royals an early 1-0 lead with a solo home run in the 1st inning, his 10th home run of the season.
Cleveland answered with 4 runs in the bottom of the 1st and never looked back. Kyle Isbel added a solo home run in the 5th inning, his 5th of the season.
With the loss, the Royals finish with a record of 65 and 97.
