It’s Week 6 of the high school football season.
Emporia High is at home for the second consecutive week as it hosts Wichita East. The Spartans are 1-4 on the season while the Blue Aces are 3-2.
Coach Keaton Tuttle says they’ve got to do all the things right to be successful.
Sophomore Enrique Rios says they’ve got to be ready to go defensively.
Senior Parker Leeds says the Spartans notice the Blue Aces do a lot of what they do on both sides of the ball.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Welch Stadium. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
Other games involving Centennial League teams:
