The final Wade’s Ride is taking off from the Bowyer Community Building Saturday morning.
The event will begin with registration at 9 am with the ride set to launch at 9:30 am. A 5K run and walk is also taking place and will begin at 11 am with registration set for 10 am.
The ride will also include a poker run with cards available for $20 and riders can purchase additional cards for $5.
A silent auction will take place throughout the day concluding at 1 pm. As always, all proceeds raised will go to provide Halo sleepsacks to every new baby born at Newman Regional Health and safe sleep cribs for every family at the annual Emporia Community Baby Shower.
The annual ride is held in honor of the memory of Wade Barrett who sadly passed away before his first birthday due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
