Residents had a chance to gather and learn more about Corner House’s mission at Recovery in the Park on Saturday.
The event involved a performance by Carving Canyons, a free lunch and activities for children. Director Rod Shepherd said activities like Recovery in the Park are important for many reasons.
Shepherd expects a big influx in demand over the next few months and he says his staff is ready. Corner House is also trying new programs to meet the need.
Corner House is located at 418 Market Street and offers therapists, self-help programs, education and employee assistance group services.
