The Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce has opened up the nomination window for its annual Business of the Year award, and it’s asking business owners to make submissions over the next few weeks.
Nominee businesses must be Chamber members with a workforce of 100 people or less. They must also have at least a three-year business history and demonstrate community involvement. Businesses cannot be a non-profit or a nationally-recognized chain or franchise.
The nomination deadline is Nov. 4, with the award winner honored at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting in January. Residents can go online to www.emporiakschamber.org to find the online nomination form. Residents with questions can call Chamber President and CEO Jeanine McKenna at 620-342-1600 or email jmckenna@emporiakschamber.org.
