Emporia States Joanie Westcoat has been named the MIAA women’s soccer defensive player of the week.
Westcoat had two assists in the Lady Hornets’ win over then No. 3 ranked Central Missouri and was a key part of the defensive efforts in Emporia States shutout at Missouri Southern.
