Two Topeka residents were arrested on drug charges in Osage County Friday morning.
According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, deputies received a report of suspicious activity in the 5700 block of West 117th Street around 8:40 am. As part of an investigation, two individuals were arrested and taken to the Osage County jail.
36-year-old Amanda Perez was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement. 48-year-old Joy Watson was arrested on possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with law enforcement.
Formal charges are currently pending.
