Fall has been here for close to a month, based on the calendar. At least short-term, it looks like fall is here based on the weather forecast as well.
A frost advisory continues until 10 am Monday with temperatures in the mid-30s. Monday night and Tuesday night will see temperatures in the mid-20s, so there is a freeze warning posted currently areawide for late Monday night through most of Tuesday morning.
Conditions will rapidly warm up with highs in the low 80s for Friday and the upcoming weekend. Unfortunately, the entire week is dry, meaning a possible expansion of the ongoing drought by the time the US Drought Monitor issues its weekly update Thursday morning.
