The Emporia State soccer team is down to their final two regular season matches. Friday afternoon the Lady Hornets host Nebraska Kearney.
Junior Angela Palmer says they will be fine-tuning for next week’s MIAA Tournament.
Kick-off is set for 3 pm on the Emporia State soccer pitch.
The Emporia State soccer team hosts Washburn to close out the regular season Sunday.
Emporia State is one of seven MIAA schools listed in the first set of NCAA Division II Regional Rankings. The Hornets have the #4 In-Region RPI and #6 D-II Performance Indicator in the region. The automatic qualifiers from the MIAA, Northern Sun, and Great American conferences along with the next four highest regionally ranked teams advance to the NCAA Central Region Tournament.
