The postseason begins for the Emporia High football team Friday night.
The Spartans will see former Centennial League foe, Highland Park at Hummer Sports Park. EHS is 1-7 while Highland Park is 6-2.
Coach Keaton Tuttle says the Spartans have to be able to run the ball in order to be successful along with their aerial attack.
Senior Fred Jackson, who returned to the lineup last Friday night, says he’s excited to be back on the field.
Junior Sheldon Stewart says the first eight games of the regular season have tested the Spartans for the playoffs.
