A traffic stop in Greenwood County earlier this month led to a trio of arrests on suspected illegal drug activity. Two of the suspects are now facing court processes.
Amanda Beck now faces criminal charges, including methamphetamine distribution, meth and marijuana possession and paraphernalia possession. Cinderella Hise is charged with methamphetamine and marijuana possession, along with paraphernalia possession. Both have status hearings at 1:30 pm Dec. 2.
Andrew Berthot was arrested on suspicion of drug and paraphernalia possession as well as traffic infractions but has not been formally charged.
Greenwood County deputies have not said what led to the traffic stop.
A status conference is coming in December for a man accused in Greenwood County of leading a chase earlier this month.
Greenwood County deputies say they tried to stop a vehicle in Madison on Oct. 13, but the driver, listed as Deven Clark, took off at a high rate of speed before he was arrested in Hamilton.
Clark is charged with single counts of flee and elude, reckless driving, driving while suspended and other traffic counts. The status hearing is at 1:30 pm Dec. 2 in Eureka.
One man faces numerous charges for allegedly violating the state’s offender registration act in a Greenwood County case.
Brandon Welch is currently charged with 10 total counts, including four of aggravated violation and six of violation, most rotating around failure to register different vehicles.
Bond has been set at $105,000. A preliminary hearing date is pending.
