The Emporia Farmers Market closed out the 40th outdoor market season Saturday morning.
Market Manager Trisha Fullerton says they had a great year that featured a strong lineup of both familiar and new vendors.
Along with fresh produce and homemade crafts and jewelry, Saturday’s market also featured a vendor costume contest with the top prize being a $20 gift card.
While the outdoor season is now complete, the farmers market is not closing up shop. The indoor market season will begin next Saturday, Nov. 5 inside of Waters Hardware. Fullerton says, aside from the obvious, the indoor season brings some changes to the market each year.
