Two K-State Wildcats received weekly honors from the Big 12 Monday.
K-State quarterback Will Howard was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while punter/kicker Ty Zentner was named the Co-Special Teams Player of the Week.
Howard tied K-State’s school record with four touchdown passes in its win over Oklahoma State. He was 21-37 for 296 yards. He is the third quarterback in K-State history to throw four touchdowns in a half.
Zentner had two of his four punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Five of his nine kickoffs were touchbacks. He also kicked field goals of 23 and 29 yards while also having a 51-yard punt.
Game times for November 12th were announced by the Big 12 Monday. Both Kansas and Kansas State will kick off at 6 p.m. KU plays at Texas Tech and K-State is at Baylor.
