Widespread rainfall is still expected across the KVOE listening area for most of Friday.
Both the National Weather Service and TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers are expecting showers and storms to enter the area after 2 am Friday.
Earlier projections this week had 2 inches as the floor, not the ceiling when it comes to rainfall totals. It also appears the weekend will be dry, which was not in the forecast earlier this week.
There is a marginal risk of severe weather, both for early Friday and again later in the day. Meyers says hail and wind are the concerns during both time periods, with an isolated tornado possible in the afternoon hours.
