Emporia’s annual patriotic art exhibition is now up and open for viewing in downtown Emporia.
The annual Veterans Art Exhibit is up and running inside of the Emporia Arts Center at 815 Commercial Street. Arts Center Gallery Manager Sarah Bulinski says this year’s exhibit has 41 entries from 18 different veterans.
As always, Bulinski says the entries encompass a wide range of artistic mediums.
Bulinski says the exhibit is very important to her both as a gallery manager, but also as the daughter of a veteran herself.
The veterans exhibit will be on display inside of the arts center from now until Nov. 12. Residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artwork with Best in Show award recipient receiving $100 courtesy of ESB Financial.
The first and second runner-ups will each receive $50. For more information visit EmporiaKSArts.org.
