A Sedgwick man arrested this week on suspicion of drug distribution has now been charged in Osage County District Court.
54-year-old Roy Scott faces single counts of possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, as well as possessing cocaine, marijuana, paraphernalia and paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, plant or cultivate a controlled substance.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says the arrest was made after deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 35 between the Melvern and Waverly exits shortly before 4 pm Wednesday for an alleged traffic infraction. Wells says narcotics were found inside the vehicle.
Scott’s next court appearance will be at 11:30 am Nov. 17 in Lyndon.
