Residents wanting free at-home COVID-19 tests have a way to receive those through a public-private partnership.
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is partnering with RF Catalytic Capital, The Rockefeller Foundation’s public charity, to offer free tests. Residents can request up to five at-home test kits through www.AccessCovidTests.org. Amazon will deliver the tests directly to residents at their homes.
This is the second round of free at-home COVID tests, and residents across the state can ask for tests.
KDHE says this is a good time to offer the free tests because of the upcoming holidays. KDHE also says people with more exposure outside the home, including people who spend time in group settings or school children, should test frequently.
