The season came to an end for the Olpe Eagles on Friday night. Centralia slipped past Olpe 8-7 in the sectional round of the 1A State football playoffs.
Olpe scored first on a Truman Bailey run with 3:02 to play in the first half.
Centralia scored their touchdown with 8:10 to play in the 3rd quarter.
Olpe Coach Chris Schmidt said he was proud of his team’s effort.
Olpe finishes their season with a record of 8 and 3.
